Doctor of Audiology
Dr. John Malan is an audiologist with over eighteen years of experience helping people with hearing loss. Dr. Malan received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Redlands where he was a four year varsity football letterman, his Master of Science degree in Communicative Disorders from Cal State Northridge and his Doctorate in Audiology from the University of Florida, graduating at the top of his class. He completed his fellowship from the prestigious House Ear Clinic in Los Angeles in 1997 and has worked in different disciplines within the hearing industry that include: clinical, business development and manufacturing. As the practice of audiology is as much art as it is science, Dr. Malan utilizes cutting-edge hearing technology with quality personal attention to ensure he delivers superior hearing healthcare. He has a unique test battery that assesses the complete auditory system so patients receive the most benefit from their hearing devices.
Dr. Malan is a proud member of the Simi Sunrise Rotary Club where he serves on two committees.
Lastly, Dr. Malan is a professor of Hearing Science at California State University, Northridge.
